Comrades regulars this week hit out at TV bosses who last week plumped for former Big Club left back Barry Mullen to front their 'back to black' hair campaign showing men were just as concious as their female counterparts in the mirror stakes, top TV guru Larry Loveitt-loads told the Squadron Leader " We knew the Seghill lads were right to front our campaign to promote the shampoo, so we narrowed it down to Les Stevens from the Blake, Harry Karen from the Rugby Club, Barry Mullen from the Big Club & of course 'The Wee Man' from the Comrades" The bookies soon made the Wee Man odds on favourite to take the top position "He was perfect to model this and an ideal TV frontman campaigner" Comrades regular Billy Bucket-Gut added. However at the last minute Mullen bagged the coveted position to the anger of the Wee Man and his loyal band of supporters. Here we see Mullen fronting the campaign launch last Friday.
